How to check if the archive is damaged
Check if you can read the files inside the archive without errors.
What to prepare
You can add: ZIP, TAR, TAR.GZ, TGZ, 7Z. The allowed size and number of files are indicated on the tool page.
Procedure
Add files
Add an archive that does not require a password. There is no password entry field here. Save the original copy.
Select settings
There are no settings. The tool will try to read the files inside and prepare a report. If the archive is damaged or its format is not supported, an error will appear.
Click the button
Read the terms of processing and confirm your consent. Click “Check archive integrity” and wait until it’s ready. If an error appears, read the message and check the file, text, or settings.
Save and check
Click "Download" on the finished result. Open integrity_report.txt: it shows how many files were read. If an error occurs, try downloading the archive again or opening it in a program that supports this format.
Tool Options
There are no other settings. Follow the steps above.
Good to know
The scan shows archive reading errors, but does not look for viruses. A successful report does not mean that any files inside are safe to open.
