How to set PDF opening password
Save a PDF that can only be opened after entering a password.
What to prepare
You can add: PDF. The allowed size and number of files are indicated on the tool page.
Procedure
Add files
Add PDF without password. Create a password of at least eight characters and save it so you can open the document later.
Select settings
Enter your password and repeat it exactly in the second field. After processing, this password will be needed to open a new PDF.
Click the button
Read the terms of processing and confirm your consent. Click “Set PDF Password” and wait until it’s ready. If an error appears, read the message and check the file, text, or settings.
Save and check
Download the PDF and reopen it in a viewer. Verify that the password prompt appears and that the correct password opens all pages.
