How to remove author information from PDF properties
Remove information recorded in PDF properties, such as the author name and document title.
What to prepare
You can add: PDF. The allowed size and number of files are indicated on the tool page.
Procedure
Add files
Add PDF. If you want to compare properties before and after cleaning, first look at them with a separate tool.
Select settings
There are no other settings. Run a cleanup: the tool will remove information from those sections of the PDF properties that it can process.
Click the button
Click "Remove PDF Metadata" and wait until it's ready. If an error appears, read the message and check the file, text, or settings.
Save and check
Download the new PDF and report. Recheck the result properties and review the pages to ensure that the content is intact.

The author's name can remain in the text itself, in pictures or in comments. Clearing properties does not remove all personal information from a document.
