How to convert CSV or TSV to XLSX
Convert a CSV or TSV text table into an Excel file.
What to prepare
You can add: CSV, TSV. The allowed size and number of files are indicated on the tool page.
Procedure
Add files
Add CSV or TSV. Find out how the columns are separated and what encoding the file is written in. Each row must have the same number of columns.
Select settings
Select separator and encoding. In “Column Types” you can write, separated by commas: text - text, number - number, bool - true or false. For example, text,number specifies text for the first column and a number for the second. An empty field leaves all values as text; The first line is always saved as text.
Click the button
Read the terms of processing and confirm your consent. Click “CSV/TSV to XLSX” and wait until it’s ready. If an error appears, read the message and check the file, text, or settings.
Save and check
Click "Download" on the finished result. Open XLSX in Excel or another spreadsheet editor. Check Russian letters, columns and numbers. For bool, the initial file must be true or false.

- Encoding
In what encoding, that is, in what way of writing letters, was the original file saved?
- Column types
Column types in order separated by commas: text - text, number - number, bool - true or false. If left unfilled, the values will remain as text.
Good to know
It is better to save phone numbers and articles as text, otherwise the leading zeros will disappear. For numbers longer than 15 digits, also use text: Excel does not store such values exactly as numbers.
