How to find and replace text fragments
Replace a word, phrase, or other fragment throughout the text.
What to prepare
Open the tool using the button above and paste the text.
Procedure
Prepare your text
Paste the text and prepare the exact fragment for search. For bulk replacement, check out the short example first.
Select settings
Fill in "Find" and "Replace With". Choose whether to distinguish between capital and small letters. For regular replacement, leave Regular Expression turned off. This setting is needed to search using special rules.
Click the button
Click "Find and Replace" and wait until it's ready. If an error appears, read the message and check the file, text, or settings.
Save and check
Click “Download” on the finished result; if there is a copy button, you can copy the text. Compare the result with the previous text. All found matches are replaced, including those inside long words. If you leave the replacement empty, the found fragment will be deleted.

Treat large and small letters as different. For example, “Moskva” and “Moscow”.

Good to know
The tool does not search only for individual words by default. For example, replacing “cat” will also affect “cat”. A search pattern that is too complex may cause an error.

The tool runs on your device, right in your browser. Files and entered text for this operation are not sent to the server.

Take the original file or text and try other settings in the steps above. Compare the new result with the previous one. The original files on your device remain unchanged.
