How to add text to the beginning and end of each line
Add the same words or characters before and after each line.
What to prepare
Open the tool using the button above and paste the text.
Procedure
Prepare your text
Paste a list. Decide what should appear before and at the end of each line.
Select settings
In the prefix field, write the text for the beginning of the line, in the suffix field - for the end. Leave the unnecessary field blank. Add spaces if needed. Choose whether to skip blank lines.
Click the button
Click “Add prefix and suffix” and wait until it’s ready. If an error appears, read the message and check the file, text, or settings.
Save and check
Click “Download” on the finished result; if there is a copy button, you can copy the text. Check a few lines to make sure there are the required spaces or characters between the added text and the original text.

- Prefix
What to add to the beginning of a line or file name. Insert a space if needed after adding.
- Suffix
What to add at the end of a line or after the entire filename pattern.
- Skip empty lines
Do not add numbers or text to empty lines. The empty lines themselves will remain.

Good to know
The text inside the line does not change. If you need to replace a word or part of a string, use Find and Replace.
