How to Convert Markdown to HTML
Turn Markdown text into an HTML file for viewing in a browser.
What to prepare
Open the tool using the button above and paste the text.
Procedure
Prepare your text
Paste Markdown text. For example, # at the beginning of a line indicates a title, and **word** indicates bold. You need text with markup, not a photograph of the document.
Select settings
There are no settings. Headings, lists, and other supported elements will turn into HTML. Program commands and unnecessary design settings are not saved.
Click the button
Click "Markdown to HTML" and wait until it's ready. If an error appears, read the message and check the file, text, or settings.
Save and check
Compare the preview to the original headers, lists, and code blocks. Download the HTML and test it in your browser if necessary.
Tool Options
There are no other settings. Follow the steps above.
Example
The title and bold word are turned into HTML styling commands. The file will also contain service information; transfers between teams may vary.
Was
# Заголовок **Важно**
It became
<h1>Заголовок</h1> <p><strong>Важно</strong></p>
Good to know
Links may remain text only, and embedded images may disappear: not all Markdown features are portable. Check the preview before using HTML.
