How to merge text files into one TXT

Combine several text files into one, maintaining the desired order.

Combine TXT: what to add → processing → what happens (TXT).

What to prepare

You can add: TXT, MD. The allowed size and number of files are indicated on the tool page.

Procedure

  1. Add files

Add TXT or Markdown files in the desired order. All source files must be read with the selected source encoding.

  2. Select settings

Select the encoding of the original and new files. Specify what to insert between files, such as line breaks. Use the arrows in the list to arrange the files in order.

  3. Click the button

Click "Merge TXT" and wait until it's ready. If an error appears, read the message and check the file, text, or settings.

  4. Save and check

Click "Download" on the finished result. Open text_merged.txt and check the junctions of the files: there are no merged words or extra empty lines.

The texts are connected as is. If the first file already ends with a wrap, and the separator also ends with a wrap, an empty line will appear between the files.
