How to split text into multiple files
Break long text into parts by number of lines or file size.
What to prepare
Open the tool using the button above and paste the text.
Procedure
Prepare your text
Paste text. Choose whether to limit the part by number of lines or size. For size, bytes are used - units of file volume.
Select settings
Select the division method, the size of one part and the encoding - how the letters will be written in the new file. When dividing by size, the entire letter remains in one part, rather than being torn between files.
Click the button
Click "Split TXT" and wait until it's ready. If an error appears, read the message and check the file, text, or settings.
Save and check
Download the parts and open them in numerical order in the names. Check the beginning and end of each part, as well as its size.

- Divide by
Split text by number of lines or file size in bytes.
- Lines/bytes per part
The number of lines or the maximum size of one part in bytes. A byte measures the size of a file, not the number of letters.
- Encoding
What encoding to save the new text file in.
Good to know
A byte and a letter are not the same thing. A Russian letter in UTF-8 usually takes two bytes, so the number of letters may be less than the selected size. Too small a part or too many parts will cause an error.
